Overturned firetruck closes street in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An overturned North Las Vegas firetruck is obstructing lanes in North Las Vegas Thursday morning.

RTC reported the crash at Civic Middle Drive south of Cheyenne Avenue shortly after 11:15 a.m.

Based on the North Las Vegas Hearth Division, the engine was responding to a home hearth within the 2400 block of North Salt Lake Road when it overturned. Three firefighters reported minor accidents and have been transported to College Medical Middle for analysis.

Based on the RTC, all lanes are blocked. Drivers are urged to make use of alternate routes.

One other engine was despatched to reply to the home hearth, which was initially reported at round 10:55 a.m. The fireplace was reported at a vacant home, and no accidents have been reported. The reason for the fireplace remains to be beneath investigation.
