North Las Vegas police arrest teen suspect accused in lethal capturing

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A teen suspect accused within the homicide of a person in North Las Vegas on Sunday has been arrested, in accordance with police.

On Friday, Arnaz Jones, 16, was situated and arrested by North Las Vegas Police.

On Sunday round 9 a.m., North Las Vegas police responded to a report of a capturing at an residence within the 2900 block of East Centennial Parkway close to North Pecos Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a person, later recognized by the Clark County coroner’s workplace as 33-year-old Correy Dennis, affected by an obvious gunshot wound to his abdomen space. He was later pronounced lifeless.

The suspect left the scene earlier than officers arrived. On Tuesday, police recognized the suspect as Jones.

He was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Middle on prices of open homicide, in accordance with police.
