Nevada Job Pressure 1 heads to Texas for flood support

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Nevada Job Pressure 1 is headed to Texas to help with search and rescue, together with restoration operations within the flood-ravaged space of Kerr County.

The 47-person staff will head to Texas from Las Vegas on Tuesday evening.

The staff contains emergency responders from native jurisdictions and companies and 4 K9s, is a part of NV-TF1, Nevada’s solely City Search and Rescue Crew.  Personnel embrace paramedics, communications specialists, a structural engineer, logistics technicians, and a medical physician, in keeping with Clark County.

The Clark County Fireplace Division is the sponsoring company for NV-TF1. The staff is comprised of members from the Clark County Fireplace Division, Las Vegas Fireplace and Rescue, Henderson Fireplace Division, and North Las Vegas Fireplace Division, in addition to members from a number of different disciplines.

The duty drive’s caravan to Texas contains pickup vans, 18-wheelers, and assist autos loaded with gear and tools.

Texas was hit with devastating flooding, leaving dozens useless and others lacking final week.
