Nevada inmate walks away from work camp in Carson Metropolis

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Nevada Division of Corrections (NDOC) is looking for an inmate who walked away from an off-site conservation work camp on Tuesday.

Randy Bauman, 47, a minimal safety offender, was reported lacking after NDOC officers stated he walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp, a minimum-custody establishment in Carson Metropolis.

Bauman was admitted to the NDOC on Oct. 2, 2024. He’s serving a sentence of 24-60 months for housebreaking of a enterprise and an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

He’s described as 5’10” with tattoo sleeves on both arms and “Breed of Hate” on his stomach.
