LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Summerlin household reached out to Clark County after witnessing a dozen automobile crashes on the intersection of Desert Inn Street and Navajo Willow Lane all through their two years in the neighborhood.

Cody Obermiller mentioned he sees fixed dashing and crashes on the intersection, which has gotten worse because of copper wire theft taking out the streetlights.

“These signs state ‘pedestrian crossing’ but you can’t see those unless they’re lit up,” Obermiller mentioned.

He and his household need change, be it cease lights or cease indicators.

After Obermiller reached out, Clark County responded, saying crews will conduct a visitors examine on the intersection someday in Fall 2025. The outcomes of the examine will decide what modifications come.
