Motorcyclist dies after crash on I-15 south of Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist died over per week after a crash south of the Las Vegas valley, in response to Nevada State Police.

On Friday, Could 2, round 2:40 a.m., NSP responded to a report of a crash on southbound I-15 at mile marker 28 close to Sloan.

Police stated a Honda VT750 Shadow Motorbike was touring southbound on the I-15 when, for unknown causes, the motorcyclist left his lane and entered the shoulder and ornamental rock space. The bike continued to journey within the rock space earlier than hitting the St. Rose Parkway overpass.

The bike overturned and the rider, recognized as 68-year-old Timothy Edward Muniz of Las Vegas, was taken to an area hospital, the place he was pronounced useless on Could 11, in response to police.

This marks Nevada State Police Freeway Patrol Southern Command’s twenty eighth deadly crash, leading to 29 fatalities in 2025.
