LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Metropolis of Las Vegas desires residents to learn about a rip-off focusing on the planning fee and the general public.

A spokesman for town acknowledged on Monday {that a} pretend letter and bill utilizing the Metropolis of Las Vegas seal letterhead and planning fee title had been being despatched out to the general public, asking for fee of an “application review and approval fee.”

“We do not send letters or bills like this for additional payments before it is set to go before the planning commission, and we never ask for wire transfers or payments via email,” a Metropolis of Las Vegas spokesman acknowledged.
