Metro police, Las Vegas neighborhood come collectively for annual 'The Huge Stroll'

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division together with Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom held the third annual The Huge Stroll to assist strengthen relationships, have a good time group and promote unity.  

The Huge Stroll launched again in 2023 in response to a rise in homelessness and crime within the space of Twain Avenue and Cambridge Avenue.

“It’s the old saying the police are the community and the community are the police. Today is a day where we get to spend time with families, volunteers and other people in the community in a non-traditional way,” Undersheriff for LVMPD Andrew Walsh stated.
