Metro police help in arrest of Arizona man wished in Wednesday taking pictures

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police assisted within the apprehension of a person who faces a second-degree homicide cost in Arizona, taking him into custody after executing a search warrant at a Laughlin condo complicated on Thursday night time.

Tony Chafin, a 39-year-old man who was the topic of a search that started on Wednesday in Bullhead Metropolis, Arizona, was booked into the Clark County Detention Heart in Las Vegas as he awaits extradition to Mohave County, in line with the Bullhead Metropolis Police Division.

Metro officers recovered a weapon once they took Chafin into custody within the 3500 block of Bay Sands Drive in Laughlin at about 8:45 p.m. on Thursday.

A person was shot within the shoulder on Wednesday and was transported to a Las Vegas hospital for therapy. The taking pictures occurred within the 800 block of Roadrunner Drive, Bullhead Metropolis police mentioned. A suspect fled earlier than police arrived.

Police launched a photograph and outline of Chafin as they performed a search after the taking pictures. Chafin has a tattoo of a cross close to his left eye and a teardrop tattoo close to his proper eye. Police warned the general public that Chafin was armed and harmful.
