Man dies after being struck by hit-and-run driver in south Las Vegas valley, police say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person died Monday morning after he was struck by a driver in a pickup truck who left the scene, Las Vegas Metropolitan police mentioned.

The crash was reported simply after 3 a.m. on South Valley View Boulevard, close to West Arby Avenue, north of Heat Springs Street.

Police mentioned the person, believed to be between 20 to 30 years outdated, was found injured on the road by a passerby. Metro mentioned proof indicated he was strolling in a journey lane on Valley View when he was struck by a truck heading southbound.

Police mentioned the pickup truck’s driver fled the crash scene. The truck is described as a black 2012 Toyota Tundra.

The injured man was transported to UMC Trauma the place he was later pronounced useless.
