Man arrested after Friday capturing, sufferer transported to Las Vegas hospital

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 40-year-old Bullhead Metropolis, Arizona, man faces costs of tried first-degree homicide and aggravated assault in a Friday capturing, police mentioned.

Jack Richard Valenzuela Jr. was arrested Friday and was anticipated to be booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

He’s accused within the capturing of a 36-year-old Bullhead Metropolis man who had wounds to his neck space, arm, knee and finger, in keeping with the Bullhead Metropolis Police Division. Police responded to the scene at about 4 p.m. and the capturing sufferer was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Middle. The person was later transported to a Las Vegas hospital for additional therapy.

Police mentioned the capturing occurred after a verbal altercation in Valenzuela’s residence.

The investigation is constant, police mentioned.
