LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A brand-new free nation music pageant might be taking up Lee Canyon for Labor Day weekend, the ski resort introduced Wednesday.
The Mountain High Honky Tonk might be held at Lee Canyon on Saturday, Aug. 30, and Sunday, Aug. 31, from midday to 7 p.m. on Rabbit Peak.
Saturday’s lineup will begin with Rick Foell, adopted by headliners Desert Warmth and Van Waylon. Sunday will function opener Joey Vitale and headliners Past the Arrow and The Swamp Coolers.
The pageant is free and good for all ages, in line with a launch from the resort. It’s a part of the resort’s Music on the Mountain live performance collection.
“Music on the Mountain has exceeded our expectations, with some shows drawing over 1,500,”Johnny DeGeorge, Lee Canyon’s advertising coordinator, mentioned. “This is our first multi-day musicevent, and we’re stoked to celebrate the holiday weekend with two days of music and community.”
Gates will open at 9 a.m. every day, and company are inspired to reach early and convey “low-profile” chairs or blankets for garden seating.
A restricted variety of VIP packages might be out there and embrace seating in a non-public space with a bar and catered meals, limitless rides on the Bristlecone Skyway. These tickets can be found for $199 per individual.
Parking might be out there for a payment, which is $10 for a single day or $15 for 2 days, and may be reserved on-line upfront. Visitors may also buy superior tickets to journey the Skyway, the downhill mountain bike park, and to play the 18-hole disc golf course.
