LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 16-year-old from Las Vegas is reaching out to the general public for assist in holding homeless youths heat.
Miley Nobles is main an initiative referred to as Useful Hoodies for Homeless Youth. The drive not solely collects hoodies however is a powerful reminder of the struggles some face.
“There’s some people at school that aren’t in the best situation,” Nobles stated.
For some children, carrying hoodies in class is sensible and may present a way of security. For Nobles and her pals, it is a labor of affection with a bit of folding and organizing.
“It’s very unfortunate to see people who are unable to have the warmth with something like a hoodie,” Noah Session stated.
Session has donated greater than 30 hoodies to Nobles’ drive. Nobles and Session didn’t know one another earlier than the drive, however their compassion for serving to others introduced them collectively.
“Especially for teenagers, seeing someone who could potentially be my friend, someone who is my age going through that was kind of upsetting to see,” Session stated.
