Las Vegas police, SWAT seen on standby as protesters collect in east valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police and SWAT have been seen on standby at an illustration that closed a highway within the east Las Vegas valley Monday evening.

A number of hundred protestors have been seen close to Charleston and Lamb boulevards holding Mexican flags in addition to a parade of automobiles driving by in assist.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, SWAT and air models have been seen on the protest on standby. Round 10:40 p.m. police have been heard telling protesters to disperse.

A number of hundred protestors have been seen Monday night close to Charleston and Lamb boulevards holding Mexican flags in addition to a parade of automobiles in assist. (KLAS)

Charleston Boulevard was closed between Lamb Boulevard and Arden Avenue and police have been seen directing site visitors.

It’s unknown at the moment whether or not the protest is related to the “Day Without Immigrants” protests occurring throughout the nation.
