Las Vegas police officer arrested on home violence fees

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An extended-time Las Vegas Metro officer was arrested on home violence fees Wednesday, police mentioned.

In keeping with a launch, police arrested LVMPD officer Robert Bell on Jan. 15. Officers booked him into the Clark County Detention Middle for the next fees:

Assault with a lethal weapon – home violence

Coercion with menace of power with a lethal weapon – home violence

Assault with a lethal weapon

Coercion with menace of power with a lethal weapon

Kidnapping 1st diploma with a lethal weapon

Bell was held on a $30,000 bail. His preliminary court docket look was scheduled for Jan. 16.

The discharge mentioned Bell has labored for the LVMPD since 1999 and was assigned to the Group Security Division, Enterprise Space Command. Bell will likely be positioned on suspension of police powerswith pay pending additional investigation.
