Las Vegas police investigating armored truck theft

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police have been investigating an armored truck theft on the west a part of the valley Wednesday afternoon.

The theft occurred within the 9800 block of West Charleston Avenue close to South Hualapai Approach at round 12:15 p.m., in accordance with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division.

The theft concerned an armored truck, and an estimated $300,000 was taken, in accordance with a supply from Metro.

The truck seemed to be outdoors of a close-by financial institution, pictures from the scene present.

Police mentioned no accidents have been reported through the incident, and police made no arrests.
