Las Vegas lady arrested at airport for allegedly assaulting flight crew

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas lady was arrested when her aircraft landed on the Harry Reid Worldwide Airport after she allegedly threatened and assaulted a flight crew, based on the Division of Justice.

A launch from the DOJ mentioned that Ketty J. Dilone was a passenger on an American Airways flight touring from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to Las Vegas, with a connecting flight in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Sept. 16.

On the flight from Charlotte to Las Vegas, the DOJ alleges that Dilone was strolling down the aisle and yelling, verbally threatening a number of flight attendants.

The discharge mentioned Dilone needed to be restrained in her seat with zip ties and duct tape for the rest of the flight. Whereas she was being restrained, Dilone allegedly kicked a flight attendant, inflicting the attendant to fall.

When the flight landed at Harry Reid Worldwide, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division took Dilone into custody.

She was charged with one rely of interference with a flight crew and one rely of assault by putting, beating, or wounding.

A choose scheduled a preliminary listening to for Oct. 1. If Dilone is convicted, the utmost penalty is 20 years of imprisonment. A federal choose will decide any sentencing.
