LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas-area hair salon within the Arts District misplaced 1000’s of {dollars} price of merchandise after it was burglarized, the proprietor advised 8 Information Now.
“It’s clear to me that this was a planned attack,” Jenn Hunter, proprietor of ‘Atomic Model Lounge’ shared with 8 Information Now.
Jenn Hunter was left distraught and pissed off after her enterprise of eight years was burglarized with 1000’s of {dollars} of merchandise stolen. The thieves took all they might in a matter of minutes.
“Three masked and hooded intruders came through the back and quickly went in and out with garbage bags,” Hunter shared.
Hunter caught the thieves on digital camera taking the whole lot: from purses, t-shirts, sun shades, and wallets to Atomics’ whole haircare line. She instantly contacted police.
“They looked around and I showed the officer the point of entry. We gave him the preliminary list of items missing,” she added.
Hunter shared with 8 Information Now that she fears the Arts District is transferring within the incorrect course as crime towards native companies has been ramping up this 12 months.
“My prime motivation in sharing my story is to help ensure that this community doesn’t start backsliding to what it was years ago.”
“Many businesses have been hit recently and I’m just now hearing about it so it’s time for us to come together and share information so we can catch them,” Hunter added.
Along with Atomic Model Lounge, ‘Tacotarian,’ ‘Fresca Skate Store’ and ‘Dig it Espresso’ have all been burglarized this 12 months. Metro Police included a Drawback Oriented Policing staff referred to as “POP” to additional patrol the realm due to this.
