Individual struck, killed in hit-and-run crash on Las Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are investigating a lethal crash on the Las Vegas Strip Friday morning that concerned a hit-and-run driver and an individual trying to cross the road.

The crash was reported shortly after 3:30 a.m. close to Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Street. That intersection is closed, and visitors is being diverted.

The one that was hit was pronounced lifeless on the scene. Police mentioned they discovered the car concerned within the crash a brief distance from the scene, but it surely was unoccupied.

Visitors reporter Nate Tannenbaum suggests motorists use Tropicana Avenue or Spring Mountain Street for east or west journey and Paradise Street for north and south journey.
