LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash close to the north finish of the Strip.
The crash came about shortly earlier than 8 p.m. on Monday after officers responded to stories of a crash on the intersection of sixth Road and Sahara Avenue.
Police informed 8 Information Now that officers realized that the driving force of an SUV touring west on Sahara Avenue “disregarded the red light and collided with a southbound vehicle in the intersection.”
The impression brought on the crash to cross over into the median on Sahara Avenue, “striking several vehicles stopped at the eastbound red light,” all of whom reported minor accidents, in response to police.
Impairment is suspected within the incident, police informed 8 Information Now.
Westbound Sahara was closed at sixth Road on Monday night.
