Household, former colleagues of fallen Las Vegas sergeant come collectively to honor his legacy 19 years later

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — On Saturday the household and former colleagues of Las Vegas Sergeant Henry Prendes, who was shot and killed whereas responding to a home violence name 19 years in the past, gathered at Henry Prendes Park to honor his legacy.

“We need a place for our kids to go and a place that will last forever. Our kids get to play here and know that this is Grandpa’s park,” Prendes’ daughter, Brooke Waugh stated.
