Home dispute investigation results in barricade in Las Vegas valley: police

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division took a suspect into custody following a home dispute that led to a barricade at a house within the west valley.

It occurred on Friday round 3:30 p.m. within the 9500 block of West Twain Avenue close to Fort Apache Highway.

The suspect concerned within the incident then barricaded themselves inside the house and refused to return out, police mentioned.

No accidents had been reported by police.

The suspect was ultimately taken into custody by police round 5 p.m.

All northbound and southbound lanes alongside Fort Apache Highway at Cherokee Avenue reopened round 5:30 p.m., in keeping with the RTC of Southern Nevada.
