LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Henderson police made 521 stops throughout a four-week marketing campaign geared toward saving lives on native roadways.
The Becoming a member of Forces marketing campaign ran from Aug. 4 to Sept. 1 and resulted within the following citations:
251 dashing citations
50 violations associated to distracted driving
38 intersection violations
39 citations for different traffic-related offenses
The Henderson Police Division acquired $179,000 in federal funding to conduct enhanced enforcement initiatives for the 2025 Becoming a member of Forces program. This system goals to lift consciousness concerning the risks of reckless driving.
Henderson police have already began one other enforcement initiative, which focuses on pedestrian security. That initiative ends September 22.
