“[C5] is very generous in helping us get started, but we are raising our own money, and that’s our goal,” Bromley stated. “We just want to have one year. We hope that it will continue after a year, but the city wanted to try it out for a year and see what happens.”

“Now that we’re organized, we’re going to make a difference,” she stated. “It’s just we don’t want to see the animals out here suffering. That’s all.”
