Helicopter rescues hiker after 60-foot fall in rugged mountains northeast of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A hiker was rescued by helicopter on Tuesday after he fell about 60 ft down a rugged slope within the mountains close to the Virgin River Canyon on Interstate 15 northeast of Las Vegas.

Search and Rescue groups from the Mohave County (Arizona) Sheriff’s Workplace responded to a cellphone name from the 21-year-old hiker, and an emergency medical technician (EMT) was capable of attain him and render first support. The hiker’s situation was not launched.
