Hearth crews extinguish storage hearth in Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Hearth Division extinguished a storage hearth within the Las Vegas valley Saturday.

Round 2:40 p.m., CCFD responded to a report of smoke coming from the entrance of a house within the 1200 block of Ponce de Leon Avenue close to Heat Springs Highway and the 215. When crews arrived, they discovered the storage of the house absolutely engulfed in flames, in response to CCFD.

Two residents have been discovered unhurt within the yard of the house. The residing space of the house had vital smoke publicity and the Crimson Cross was requested to help two adults and two canine, CCFD.

In complete, 44 firefighters responded to the decision, together with seven engines, one truck, two rescues, two battalion chiefs, an air useful resource/rehab unit, and LVFR responded with their CBRN/Hazmat unit resulting from injury to a lithium-ion battery within the storage. 

The reason for the fireplace is underneath investigation.
