LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Clark County grand jury voted to indict the YouTube streamer accused of killing one other character and his spouse on the Las Vegas Strip, prosecutors introduced Friday.
Manuel “Manny” Ruiz, 41, often known as “Sin City Manny,” is accused of shooting and killing Rodney Finley, 44, also known as “Finny Da Legend,” and his spouse, Tanisha Finley, 43, close to the Bellagio Fountains on June 8.
On Thursday, the grand jury voted to indict Ruiz on two counts of homicide with using a lethal weapon, paperwork mentioned. The indictment was unsealed Friday.
The indictment means Ruiz’s case will bypass the justice courtroom course of and transfer on to the district courtroom. Prosecutors typically use the procedural tactic to maneuver instances alongside.

The confrontation between Ruiz and the Finleys was caught on video throughout a livestream. It stemmed from a beef between the 2 YouTube streamers, police mentioned. Ruiz later turned himself in to Henderson police and instructed detectives he acted in self-defense.
Throughout a courtroom listening to final week, Ruiz’s public defender mentioned there have been 4 terabytes of discovery.
Ruiz remained in custody Friday with out bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned on July 17.
