Girl arrested after canine dies in crate left exterior Las Vegas house in excessive warmth

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A girl was arrested after a canine was discovered useless in a crate left exterior within the excessive warmth at a southeast Las Vegas house on Saturday.

Las Vegas Metro police stated they had been referred to as to a house close to the 6800 block of Frances Celia Avenue close to Tropicana Avenue and East Russell Highway after Clark County Animal Safety Companies requested help.

In response to police, the canine had been locked inside a crate and left within the excessive warmth for a number of hours. Animal Cruelty detectives later recognized the proprietor as Olivia Underwood, 30.

Underwood was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Middle. She faces one rely of willful or malicious torture, maiming, or killing of a canine, police stated.
