LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One among Las Vegas’ most eccentric houses is now on sale for $2.5 million.
The house, close to the nook of Sandhill and Flamingo roads, belonged to former Nevada Lieutenant Governor and neurosurgeon Lonnie Hammargren.
Whereas alive, Hammargren crammed the house with an enormous assortment of Las Vegas memorabilia. He would open the house each Nevada Day for guests to come back by. A brand new proprietor bought the house in 2017 after it had foreclosed and has made the house much less overcrowded.

Hammargren’s eclectic assortment up for public sale
The house nonetheless has its distinctive attraction, with Liberace’s staircase, a planetarium, a cathedral, and extra. It’s not the common residence. “I don’t know that it’s a home for a typical family,” realtor Angie Hatcher mentioned. “It’s probably for someone that wants to entertain or someone that really appreciates the Las Vegas history and what this means for the community and understands it.”
