First traffic-related loss of life of 2025 concerned motorcyclist in southeast Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist killed in a crash Monday turned the primary loss of life of 2025 on Las Vegas valley roads, police mentioned.

The crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. on the intersection of E. Flamingo Highway and S. Mojave Drive. Las Vegas Metropolitan police mentioned the motorcyclist, in his 20s, was dashing eastbound on Flamingo when a Nissan Versa, touring westbound, made a left flip in entrance of the bike.

The motorcyclist was pronounced lifeless on the scene. Police mentioned the driving force of the Versa stayed on the scene and didn’t present any indicators of impairment.

The crash stays below investigation.
