LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The daddy of a 17-year-old killed by a mob of fellow college students is suing the Clark County College District for negligence and wrongful demise.

Jonathan Lewis Junior was kicked and punched on Nov. 1, 2023, in an alley close to Rancho Excessive College. He died one week later of extreme mind trauma from the beating.

9 college students had been arrested, and all took plea offers, which stored them within the juvenile justice system, the place they prevented critical jail time.

In line with the lawsuit, CCSD was conscious of the “tensions between Jonathan and his assailants and the pattern of aggressive behavior of his assailants prior to the attack and death of Jonathan.”
