“When the kids love something, they’re going to gravitate to what they love. And so, if we can find something that is available for them after school and get them engaged with that, that keeps them busy,” Sheree Corniel founder and government director of Actual Speak Youth Impression Program stated. “They get in the wrong environments and end up in the system, or they’re making poor choices.” 

Corniel stated 46% of the youngsters who enroll in her program are from juvenile court docket. 

“The main thing for these children to understand is that parents are the parents and they need to be respected. And parents need to understand, you must create boundaries because without boundaries, kids don’t know when to stop,” Corniel stated.
