Downtown residents recall 2019 Alpine Motel hearth that killed six

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents of downtown Las Vegas recalled the devastation of the Alpine Motel hearth in December 2019, which left six folks useless, 13 injured, and greater than 50 homeless.

“I remember seeing a person in a wheelchair being pushed out of a window—an older person who couldn’t get down from the top floor,” stated Daybreak Bass, a close-by resident.
