Crews battle 500-acre wildfire in Northern Nevada; site visitors delays anticipated

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Hearth crews are battling a 500-acre wildfire about 20 miles northwest of Gerlach, Nevada, and officers warn drivers to anticipate site visitors delays as Burning Man attendees head residence.

The R-14 Buffalo Hearth has scorched roughly 500 acres throughout the Poodle Mountains Wilderness Research Space, officers with the Bureau of Land Administration mentioned.
