Cooling stations to open throughout Las Vegas valley on account of excessive temperatures

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County is about to activate cooling stations throughout the Las Vegas valley and Southern Nevada beginning Tuesday as temperatures are set to rise within the coming days.

As a result of an excessive warmth danger, the next stations will likely be activated from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, by way of 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, for anybody in want of respite from the warmth.
