Catholic Charities celebrates 84 years in Las Vegas, hosts ‘Feed Vegas’ occasion

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – In its 84th yr, Catholic Charities has a brand new CEO, however the mission stays the identical.

On Friday, they celebrated their anniversary with decorations and t-shirt giveaways throughout their particular ‘Feed Vegas’ each day meal.

Sara Ramirez, the brand new CEO, instructed 8 Information Now she is honored to assist her neighbors in Las Vegas.

“It’s exciting for us, hospitality and meal service is our specialty at MGM Resorts,” she stated. “We have mega-properties where we serve thousands of people every day, but it’s particularly meaningful to do it here in the community where there’s a need.”

Volunteering at Catholic Charities can also be open to all.
