NEW YORK (AP) — Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband and expertise supervisor, has died of most cancers, his household stated Thursday. He was 48.
“Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years,” a consultant for the Blackstock household shared in an announcement to The Related Press. “He handed away peacefully and was surrounded by household. We thanks to your ideas and prayers and ask everybody to respect the household’s privateness throughout this very tough time.”
The information was first reported by Individuals journal. On Wednesday, Clarkson introduced that she was suspending her “Studio Session” concert events in Las Vegas, writing on Instagram, “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
Blackstock was the daddy to 4 kids, two from a earlier marriage and two with Clarkson.
Clarkson and Blackstock had been married in October 2013. In 2020, she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable variations.
