LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Neighborhood leaders, native organizations, and the household of a person attacked at a Las Vegas Chinatown karaoke bar in 2022 thanked District Legal professional Steven Wolfson for submitting assault expenses, practically three years later, throughout a press convention Tuesday.
The assault occurred in November 2022 at Area BBQ on Spring Mountain close to South Decatur Boulevard.
“We stand with DA Steve Wolfson and we stand thankful that our community can rest assured that all violent crimes will always be prosecuted at the fullest extent of the law and that justice will be served for the victim and his family,” Evan Louie, chairman of One APAI Nevada stated throughout Tuesday’s convention.
The stabbing resulted in a taking pictures in the identical purchasing middle car parking zone.
The costs have been filed Oct. 1, 2025, only one month earlier than the statute of limitations expired for the assault expenses.
“I applaud the district attorney’s office for finally bringing this to light. But you know, the one thing we cannot tolerate is that justice is very, very, very, very, sometimes meticulous, and that’s a kind word,” Gloris Kawili, who was representing the Asia Pacific America Labor Alliance, stated. “Justice has to be for everyone.”
Democratic Congresswoman Dina Titus and members of the Nevada State Meeting have been in attendance throughout Tuesday’s convention.
