LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Amari Cooper, huge receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, intends to retire from the Nationwide Soccer League one week after reuniting with the crew, the league introduced.
In response to a publish from the NFL on social media, Cooper, 31, is retiring after a ten-year profession within the league.
On Aug. 26, the Las Vegas Raiders introduced Cooper could be again in silver and black after he signed a one-year, $3.5 million take care of the crew on the finish of camp. Cooper was drafted by the Raiders within the first spherical of the 2015 draft, making this new deal a “hopeful” reunion.
NFL Community Insider Ian Rapoport posted on X that the reunion could be no extra, reporting that Cooper “informed the team he no longer has the desire to play,” saying he would retire.
This retirement will put an finish to Cooper’s NFL profession, which spanned 10 seasons, 5 Professional Bowls, and 4 groups (the Oakland Raiders, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cleveland Browns, and the Buffalo Payments).
Cooper finishes his profession with 711 receptions for 10,033 yards with 64 touchdowns.
