'Gateway to All the things': Las Vegas airport launches new marketing campaign

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Officers from Harry Reid Worldwide Airport launched a brand new marketing campaign Thursday, positioning the airport as a main portal to southern Nevada.

“62 years in the past, we had six airways, about 128 each day flights,” said Monika Bertaki, chief marketing officer for the Clark County Department of Aviation. “That 12 months, we completed with 1.5 million passengers.”

All these years later, the airport unveiled its new branding marketing campaign entitled “Gateway to Everything.” Bertaki stated the airport system has grown, breaking its personal passenger report for a 3rd 12 months. She stated extra persons are opting to fly to Las Vegas, reasonably than drive.

“More than half our visitors in the last few years we’ve discovered are actually coming by air. They’re not travelling by car as much as they used to before,” Bertaki stated, including that the Las Vegas airport is the beginning and finish level for the sports activities and leisure capital of the world.

“That truly happens – the successes of all these special events in our region – it happens because we have a very strong airport system,” Bertaki stated. “This airport system is the gateway to everything we all love about this region, about this community, and this destination.”
