Police arrest 2 males accused of capturing, killing lady in car in Downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police arrested two males accused of capturing and killing a girl in a car in Downtown Las Vegas.

Philip Robust, 18, and Charles Wright, 20, each face a cost of open homicide with a lethal weapon, information confirmed.

On Feb. 15 round 2:35 a.m., Metro police responded to a report of a girl shot within the 400 block of eleventh Avenue close to Lewis Avenue. When officers arrived they discovered a girl inside a car affected by obvious gunshot wounds.

The sufferer, later recognized as 29-year-old Hope Ritter, was pronounced useless on the scene.

Police mentioned the Ritter and a buddy had been sitting within the car speaking when two males walked previous them. Moments later pictures had been fired and Ritter was struck. The Clark County Coroner’s workplace mentioned her reason for demise was a number of gunshot wounds to the top.

Wright was already in police custody on the Clark County Detention Heart for unrelated fees and was re-booked for open homicide on Feb. 21.

Police arrested Robust in North Las Vegas on Feb. 21 and he was booked into CCDC.

Wright is scheduled to seem in courtroom on Tuesday.
