Las Vegas substitute trainer turns himself in after alleged inappropriate relationship with juvenile

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas highschool substitute trainer was arrested on prices associated to having an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile after turning himself in, CCSDPD stated Wednesday.

Kurt Tumbagahan, 25, turned himself into the Clark County District Courtroom after a summons was issued by the District Lawyer. Data confirmed that he faces prices of contact/ try and contact a minor by an individual of authority for the aim of intercourse and two counts of partaking in sexual conduct with an individual 16 or older on college property/ at a faculty exercise.

The summons stemmed from an investigation initiated on Jan. 7 at Valley Excessive College.

Tumbagahan was a substitute trainer assigned to Valley Excessive College and has been employed by the district since April 2024. He has been faraway from CCSD’s substitute pool and is not eligible to substitute in CCSD.
