LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A near-mile-long backup of visitors at a Henderson cease signal is changing into a roadblock for Nevada State College college students and close by residents, however metropolis officers are indicating an answer is en route.

Joe Rajchel, a NSU spokesperson, wrote in an electronic mail to eight Information Now the expectation for backups have led to suggestions for college students to search different routes.

“Since the beginning of this project Nevada State has been communicating with students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors about the ongoing roadwork,” Rajchel wrote. “Advising them to allow additional commute time and to consider utilizing alternate routes to reduce the traffic on Nevada State Drive.”

The significance of the venture was famous by Rajchel who cited the continued plan for additional progress and growth within the surrounding space.

“[We] appreciate the City of Henderson’s commitment to ensuring our campus community receives the latest information on this work,” he wrote.

Montoya mentioned the realm close to the campus is often quiet, and he seems ahead to when the venture shall be accomplished—which has not been offered.

“I hope it does better,” Montoya mentioned. “There’s no date for it, so I don’t know when it’ll happen. Hopefully soon.”
