Man hit by 2 automobiles dies; police ask for public's assist in seek for hit-and-run driver

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An 83-year-old New York man died from his accidents Thursday evening after he was struck by two automobiles as he tried to cross the principle highway by Bullhead Metropolis, Arizona.

The Bullhead Metropolis Police Division is asking anybody with details about a white car, presumably a more moderen SUV or minivan, that originally struck the person to contact police at (928) 763-1999. The car continued on with out stopping. The collision occurred at about 6:30 p.m. within the space of U.S. Freeway 95 at Fifth Avenue

A second car was unable to keep away from the pedestrian, and the male driver stopped and rendered assist till paramedics arrived, police stated.

The pedestrian was pronounced lifeless after he was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Heart. His title is being withheld pending notification of subsequent of kin.

The pedestrian was crossing from east to west throughout U.S. 95, however police didn’t say which route the automobiles have been touring.

Bullhead Metropolis is about 100 miles south of Las Vegas.
