Trial date set for ex-Republican congressional candidate accused in Las Vegas homicide

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The homicide trial of a former Republican congressional candidate and ex-wrestler is about to happen in June 2026, following the denial of his petition by the Nevada Supreme Courtroom in April.

Daniel Rodimer, 48, is accused of punching Christopher Tapp, 47, on Oct. 29, 2023, throughout a Halloween celebration on the Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip. Tapp, an ex-convict, died about one week later as a result of his accidents.
