Crash report: Teen on e-scooter at fault in collision in entrance of Centennial Excessive Faculty

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A crash report filed by Metro police signifies a teenage lady on an e-scooter was at fault in a collision in entrance of Centennial Excessive Faculty at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The lady obtained minor accidents to her face and leg, colliding with a Mercedes-Benz pushed by a person who did not see her coming round a college bus that was stopped in a middle flip lane. The bus was blocking a crosswalk, the crash report stated, and as an alternative of ready, the lady tried to go across the entrance of the bus.

The scooter went into the trail of the black 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the driving force could not see her coming, the report indicated.

The automobile was in the fitting lane of westbound Centennial Parkway, and the bus was forward and to the left, turning onto Michelli Crest Approach. When the automobile started to maneuver ahead, the collision with the scooter occurred. Police stated the lady did not yield the fitting of means.

The lady was not cited, in keeping with the report. Though she didn’t declare damage, she was taken to Summerlin Hospital with minor accidents. Injury to the scooter and the entrance of the automobile was described as “moderate.” The report didn’t specify if she was carrying a helmet.
