Nevada State Police searching for hit-and-run driver following harm crash on Sahara

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Troopers and police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a crash that left one particular person injured, inflicting highway closures Friday morning.

The crash was reported round 5:20 a.m. and concerned two automobiles and one motorbike on Sahara Avenue close to I-15. Nevada State Police mentioned a driver in a purple sedan was touring westbound on Sahara, ran a purple gentle, struck an SUV and motorbike, after which fled the crash scene on foot.

The motorcyclist was injured and transported to an area hospital, Trooper Shawn Haggstron mentioned.

Westbound Sahara is closed close to the I-15 northbound ramp. Eastbound Sahara is closed, in addition to the northbound ramp to go to westbound Sahara.
