Man critically injured in crash close to Las Vegas Strip, driver arrested

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person was critically injured in a crash early Sunday morning close to the Las Vegas Strip, police stated.

It occurred simply after 2:20 a.m. on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, north of Frank Sinatra Drive. In response to police, a 2022 Kia was heading southbound in the suitable lane when the motive force hit a person who was mendacity within the roadway.

Emergency crews rushed the 32-year-old man to a close-by hospital with life-threatening accidents.

Police stated the motive force stayed on the scene however confirmed indicators of impairment. The motive force was arrested on DUI-related expenses and booked into the Clark County Detention Middle.
