Stolen automobile investigation results in North Las Vegas grocery retailer evacuation

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A grocery retailer in North Las Vegas was evacuated Saturday morning as police investigated a recovered stolen automobile.

8 Information Now sources confirmed the Smiths close to Aliante Parkway and Deer Springs Means was evacuated shortly after 11 a.m. Staff have since been allowed again inside.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division stated the scenario was related to a stolen automobile restoration. Sources reported a big police presence within the space, together with two helicopters circling overhead.
