Hollywood figures and followers of flicks mourned the demise of Robert Redford, expressing affection and admiration for the Oscar-winning director, liberal activist and godfather for impartial cinema.
Actor Colman Domingo stated Redford had an “everlasting impact” on films and director Ron Howard referred to as his Sundance Movie Competition a “game changer.” “Reservation Dogs” director Sterlin Harjo stated Redford empowered filmmakers.
